PHOENIX, State Capitol –  Rep. Mitzi Epstein will host the first Arizona State Capitol Science Café along with RealTime STEAM Thursday morning to discuss artificial Intelligence and the City of the Future. Epstein will lead a panel of scientists, researchers and engineers in a question-and-answer session with the public and lawmakers. The panel will discuss the past, present and future of artificial intelligence, machine learning and neural networks, as well as speculating about the intersection of human and machine, law and physics.

I am delighted to work with the scientists of RealTime Steam to make this event happen,” Epstein said. “As we consider laws and policies about driverless cars, drones, and smart cities, it is useful to know more about artificial intelligence and machine learning.  A great way to keep up with changing technology is to attend this event and, ‘Ask a scientist.’”
